Thank you god for nature. I recommend everyone spend some time in nature. Nature is good for the soul and firsthand I feel that as im writing this blog entry. Yesterday myself and a few friends took a long and hard hike through sequoia national park in California. As we arrived we sat and watched a waterfall for half and hour or so. This moment was so peaceful and really gave me wellbeing for a little while. Once we began our hike we underestimated how long the hike was. We walked for hours before we reached that pretty scenery at the end of the hike. It was really a delayed gratification moment and I am glad we pushed through to the end. We walked back in pitch black dark. This was very dangerous but I loved every moment of it! It was so thrilling! I fell a handful of times and fell on my face once. In the end after about 8 hours on this trail we were all laughing and joking about how great that was but in the moment it seemed like the trial went on forever and sucked. This is life . Moments like these. Thanks be to god for life. There’s something to be taken away from in regards to delayed gratification but the point I want to get at is how healthy and good for your mind it is to go for a hike and spend some time in nature. Its healing. Go on an adventure man. Tomorow is Monday morning. I’m ready, im ready to fucking grind. See you later.
